Katie began working with makeup by pure chance when she could not find a makeup artist that she liked for her wedding. A crash course in bridal makeup gave her the skills to do her own wedding makeup, and within months family and friends were coming to her for all their makeup needs. A thriving business was born out of Katie’s desire to bring a fresh perspective on beauty and style to all women. Austin is home to the most beautiful women in the world, and Katie strives to help every woman recognize her own personal beauty. Katie has trained extensively with Robert Jones, MAC Cosmetics, Merle Norman, and a host of other makeup gurus. A 2010 Austin Fashion Awards winner, her work has been featured in Rare Magazine, NSide Magazine, The Knot Magazine, and many style and beauty blogs. A native Austinite, Katie resides in Cedar Park with her doting husband, their precocious daughter, and their two maddeningly rambunctious canines.
