TONIGHT: MEET THE STYLE MASTERS

Tonight, clink glasses with emerging designers and artists and score incredible deals for your wardrobe and home during a one-night-only al fresco shopping soiree, The Style Masters.

Presented by Austin Tidbits, the evening will showcase the talent of top tier designers from around the country while treating you to a one-of-a-kind private shopping experience.

Who are the Style Masters? Before toasting with them tonight, take a minute to meet the Style Masters below.

DAVID PECK

David Peck, whose collections are proudly manufactured in Houston, combines the refined elegance of Parisian style with American practicality. David’s inaugural collection, CrOp, which stands for Creative Opportunities, is a fun and quirky line of clothing with a conscious.  Each CrOp collection stems from a collaboration with creative professionals who similarly value giving back – 10% of his profits for every collaboration is donated to a cause affiliated with his seasonal affiliation.

His current Spring/Summer 2012 collection boasts bold solids, cool prints, mix and match separates, chic classics, and funky fresh looks.

Inca Boot Company

Evan's original pair of Inca Boots

Inca Boot Company’s Evan Streusand was inspired to start his own boot company after a backpacking trip through South America. Despite being a native Texan, Evan was not a boot-wearer – until he stumbled upon a local boot shop in Cusco, Peru, where he was  immediately taken with colors of the intricately woven textiles, the smell of the leather and the overall craftsmanship of the boots.

Evan took home a pair of boots with him, and later founded Austin-based Inca Boot Company, which works collaboratively with talented Peruvian craftspeople to combine traditional Inca textiles with modern-day designs.

The 2 Bandits

By designer Tamara Wider, the 2 Bandits is a collection of jewelry and accessories that strike a balance between rustic and refined, resulting in an unparalleled aesthetic and remarkably identifiable style. Southwestern and North American influences merge with vintage elegance and bohemian charm to formulate necklaces, rings, earrings, belts, charms and boot trim that will instantly transport you to a glamorously free-spirited Texan exuberance.

Stone Textile

Designer Elizabeth Mollen created Stone Textile in memory of her grandparents, who taught her to appreciate and observe the beauty of old and new. Elizabeth takes a modern meets vintage approach to design and creates fabrics that reflect hidden patterns in architecture and antique jewelry given to her by her grandmother. Elizabeth is also inspired by contemporary fashion trends. Her home décor pieces have a level of elegance and simplicity that complement an environment, enhance the table, and add a bit of attitude to life.

Dee Keller

We’re loving Baton Rouge resident Dee Keller‘s high-end Italian-made shoe line. Dee is a designer with an exceptionally refined sensibility and marked by their optimism, joie de vivre and beauty, her designs will add a spark to any wardrobe. Her styles are fresh, relevant, will stand the test of time and feature sleek designs that are crafted from the finest materials. The Spring 2012 Dee Keller collection cleverly combines an optimistic and energetic outlook with a worldly sensibility. Whether sporty moccasins, playful wedges, or elegantly modern heels, these shoes are gorgeous and statement-making.

Herff Christiansen

Herff Christiansen is a collaboration between two women inspired by the urban landscape of Austin. Their seemingly disparate sensibilities have fused to create a collection of affordable, architectural fashion pieces that both live in the moment and transcend time. They won us over with their first offering – an angular French-terry take on the ubiquitous tank.

81Poppies and BonBon by Micah Yancey

We’ve already spent serious blog time discussing our love for Austin-based designers Micah Yancey and Michelle Weisman. At The Stye Masters, they will bring along many pieces from their recent collaboration project, the Micah Yancey for 81Poppies Collection, whose Blue Royalty Necklace was featured on the season finale of Gossip Girl. If you haven’t yet taken a peek at the work of these two fabulous designers, now’s your chance!

Ross Bennet

Austin’s own Ross Bennett, from NBC’s hit show Fashion Star, will also be on hand, and sure to bring along charming pieces from his custom evening-wear and cocktail collections. The Ross Bennett Collection, founded by Ross and his wife, Erin, was designed to bring classic, custom tailoring back to modern, everyday life by launching a natural, eco-friendly custom clothing line.
